Kav Hazinuk
Kav Hazinuk ("The Starting Line" in Hebrew) strives to provide high-potential youth from Israel's regional and social periphery with leadership training and business skills over the critical ten-year period of high school, army service, college, and the beginning of their professional careers. Program participants also initiate social and business projects for the benefit of their home communities, providing them with real-life opportunities to address civic and social problems. This robust, highly-selective program is creating a new generation of Israeli leaders who are dedicated to remaining in and strengthening Israel's socio-geographic periphery.
Natan's 2012 renewal grant will support Kav Hazinuk's "Cultivating Young Leadership in the Negev" project.
